Shabbat Shalom! This is my last Shabbat in Israel…for now. It’s been a great vacation, 2nd wedding(!) and honeymoon with my husband and his wonderful family. My Dad and his wife and two friends of mine also joined us on the trip. It was my dads first trip to Israel! This was my 4th and I can’t wait for the 5th. I am so blessed to have so much family and friends here now.
My husband has done way too much driving around this small country and is now hurting from it! From Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to Rosh Pina and all around.
The Wedding was absolutely beautiful and was pretty much entirely planned by my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law. They did such an amazing job! My husband surprised me by getting on stage with the awesome wedding band and singing “Passenger” by the Deftones featuring Maynard James Keenan (from Tool)…one of our favorite songs. I will try to put a link to his performance here!
The main photo you see is my Hamsa Keychains that I made for all the guests at my wedding! They are white with purple lovebirds in a small organza bag and attached is a tag that says, “With Love, Jenni and Jino, August 25, 2011.” I hope everyone loved them!

I recently completed a custom chuppah quilt for Rebecca and Alan, who are getting married at the beautiful Eldridge Street Synagogue on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I was really excited to work with Rebecca and Alan because first of all, they are such a cute couple and so friendly, and…
